This blog is intended to be as eclectic as I and my experiences are. This isn't Goop, I'm a relatable human being; a  professional working woman, a mommy (still sounds weird to say that!), a textile fiend, and someone who exasperates her husband by always dropping food on the floor when we watch TV. 

However, while this blog is eclectic, I also intend for it to be as organized as possible into categories as I am well aware nobody is excited by exactly the same combination of topics that I am.  Further, since I did my formal studies in two of the most controversial subjects, theology and Middle Eastern Studies, some hot button issues are bound to be expounded on. I love a healthy debate, but sometimes the world and these issues suck your emotional energy.  For those days there are the more tangible and slightly less rage inducing thoughts, like how to wrestle a toddler into a diaper or sew pockets into your pocketless dresses. Basically, the organization is as much for my [dozen or so] readers as it is for myself.

In short, in the tabs below I intend to delve into professional issues, momming issues, professional momming issues, politics, theology, life and the joy of creative hobbies.
